Falk Family Day Trips With Nana and Papa Janzen

We recently took Nana and Papa (Connie's Parents) to three Czech 'hot spots'.
Pruhonice is a beautiful park just to the east of Prague (45 minutes from our home). Karlstejn is a castle to the south (approximately 40 minutes from home). Karlovy Vary is a great Bohemian town in western Czech Republic (100 minutes from Prague). It is famous for it's mineral water (for drinking and bathing in), it's specialty waffers - Oplatky, and Becherovka (liquer).
You can see our photos -including more 'jumping photos' on Flikr. Click o the links below:

EVER BEEN TO THE BLACK SEA?

In July we got away to Bulgaria for a week of fun in the sun! We stayed in the Golden Sands region and enjoyed swimming in the Black Sea. It was a great experience for us and a fantastic family time.
Highlights and Lowlights:
  • Sara finds a Jelly Fish
  • The kids enjoy trampoline/bungy jumping
  • Andrea and Mark Para-sail
  • Enjoying cocktails on the beach
  • A day at the waterslides
  • Connie tells off the chef for under cooking the hamburger
  • Al experiences the "Bulgarian Blues" and discovers we forgot the Cherry Pepto-Bismol
  • Carry extra Leva (Bulgarian currency) everywhere as they like to charge for EVERYTHING
  • Check out some of the photos on Flickr
